Norma Holmberg has joined Oy Nortecon Ab’s Commercial Consulting Team

We are pleased to inform Norma Holmberg has joined our Commercial Consulting Team.

 

Ms. Norma Holmberg has been working within real estate industry in various posts for 19 years, the past 14 years as Commercial Consultant at Realprojekti Oy. She has experience from both from property owner’s and consultant’s perspective.  During these years Norma has been involved in the development and leasing processes of several shopping centers and other commercial properties around Finland.  With her knowledge, experience and language skills she will bring an expected additional resource to our team. Norma has joined our team in August 2017.

Versatile, quality and comfortable shopping centre in Seinäjoki!

Into the heart of Ostrobothnia, in Seinäjoki, will be built by far the biggest, most comprehensive and easily accessible shopping centre of the area. Lakeuden Ankkuri totals 42,000 sqm of leasable area and it will open spring 2019. Building will start during summer 2017.

” i3 ” IS NOW EASTON HELSINKI

Kesko’s new urban centre being built in Itäkeskus celebrated the topping out of its first part on Friday 4th November. At the same time was introduced the new name Easton Helsinki, chosen through a name competition. The permitted building volume of this first part is 26,000 sqm, of which a total of 20,000 sqm is available for lease. Easton’s first part will have a special focus on food and eating, as well as managing everyday errands. It will accommodate a completely new concept K-citymarket as well as some 30 stores and services. The first part alone will provide parking spaces for nearly 1,000 cars and more than 300 bikes.

The total capital expenditure on Easton Helsinki is over 200 million euros. The total permitted building volume is around 62,000 sqm of business space and 8,400 sqm of residential space. The second part of Easton is estimated to be completed in autumn 2019. The second part will focus on free time, hobbies, well-being, and entertainment, not forgetting amusement and social life.

KESKO TO MAKE CAPITAL EXPENDITURE OF €100 MILLION IN ITÄKESKUS, HELSINKI

Kesko will build a new and modern shopping centre in the area of the current K-citymarket in Itäkeskus, eastern Helsinki. The centre (i3), to be built phase by phase, will have a special focus on food, enjoyable leisure time and encounters. The first phase of the shopping centre will be completed at the end of 2017. The floor area will be 26,000 square meters and the capital expenditure will be about €100 million. The plan of the area also enables housing construction.

NEW APPROACH TO URBAN LIFE IN THE CENTRE OF LAHTI, KORTTELI 42 LEASING ON PROCRESS

HANSA SHOPPING CENTER RENEWAL

The shopping center Hansa located in the heart of Turku is the largest and oldest shopping center in Turku. Veritas Pension Insurance has carried out a renovation and modification work in the Yliopistonkatu 20 premises. Now the renewal project is in the final stage and in April in the shopping center was opened a new nearly 3 000 sqm H&M Hennes & Mauritz and the third Stadium store in Turku region. More new stores are opening in the premises during spring and summer.

 

After renovations in the Hansa shopping center serves more than 150 shops and cafes. The total GLA is approximately 40 000 sqm.

MS. TIINA HÄNNINEN APPOINTED AS COMMERCIAL CONSULTANT

 

We are pleased to inform that Ms. Tiina Hänninen has been appointed as Commercial Consultant at Oy Nortecon Ab.

 

Ms. Tiina Hänninen will join us from the Bestseller group where she has been working altogether 13 years of which the past 11 years as a Country Manager.  Tiina will strengthen our commercial knowhow especially in the tenant perspective and will bring with her strong expertise in the fashion trade. Tiina will start in her new position in the beginning of April 2013.

Shopping Center Matkus opened

On the south side of Kuopio a new shopping center Matkus was opened on November 1, 2012. The new shopping center is the first Ikano Retail Centres Finland Oy’s shopping center in Finland.

 

Retail space in the new shopping center is approx. 31 000 square meters and there will be opening about 90 different stores and restaurants. Free parking available up to 3000.

 

Fashion is particularly well represented in the new shopping center – Bik Bok will be opening the first store in Finland as well as New Yorker and Company’s their second stores in Finnish market.

 

Oy Nortecon Ab has worked in the project from the beginning, participating the commercial and functional planning, tenant mix design and implementation as well as in the marketing and leasing.

 

The shopping center is expected to have about four million visitors a year.

New stadium opened in Lielahti on October

First Stadium Plus store is now opened in Lielahti, Tampere, Finland on October 17, 2012. The store is the largest Stadium store in Finland and represents Stadium Plus concept. The store is approx. 3000 square meters.

 

Stadium building in Lielahti was originally served as the Montreal club factory and later among other things S-market. An extensive renovation was carried out in the building before the opening of the new Stadium store.

 

The owner of the project was EjendomsInvest Oy Ab and Oy Nortecon Ab’s role as commercial consultant.
